PERFECTION IS A MATTER OF PERCEPTION
Remember, that which you see as imperfection is your conception. What you see as imperfect is perfect too. Through its heat, the sun draws up water vapour, and water vapour becomes a cloud and makes things dark down below.
Can we call the cloud imperfect because it blocks the sun? No. Clouds are not imperfect. As a matter of fact, without clouds and their rain coming down, you would starve to death, for you would not have any food. In this process everything is perfect, and if everything is perfect, it can be called God.
YOU ARE PERFECT AS YOU ARE
You are perfect as you are, totally perfect. But you have to realise this: “I am perfect.” No matter what you do, it is still an act of perfection. Any imperfection that you find there is your thought; a thought is a superimposition of the mind upon perfection. We colour what we see according to our minds.
To see perfection in everything, one has to go beyond the mind, beyond the thinking level. That is the reason we do spiritual practices and meditate.
